Meet Dr. Francis Tuffour
Founder of Awarepa

Francis Tuffour has a deep passion for premarital relationships, marriage, and family life. Over the years, he has served as a relationship educator on radio, social media, at churches, and special events, offering real-life insights and biblical counsel to those seeking meaningful, lasting love.
In addition to public speaking, Dr. Tuffour has provided one-on-one pastoral counseling for couples and individuals preparing for marriage or navigating relationship challenges. His academic and ministry work reflects a strong commitment to building godly homes.
He holds a Doctor of Ministry (DMin) Family Ministry degree from Andrews University in Michigan, where his doctoral dissertation focused on creating a practical marriage preparation guide for pastors, counselors, and premarital couples. His academic background also includes:

With a background in media, communication, theology, technology, counseling, and family life education, Dr. Tuffour created Awarepa to bridge heart, culture, and commitment — especially for Ghanaians at home and abroad.
He understands how many struggle to find someone who shares their faith, values, and cultural roots. Awarepa exists to change that — by offering a safe, intentional space where profound love begins.
Dr. Tuffour is married to a licensed psychotherapist, and together, they are raising four wonderful children. They live in the United States, where their passion for healthy families continues to shape lives locally and globally.
He enjoys watching the news, following soccer, and managing thriving social media and digital platforms that inspire, educate, and connect people across cultures. One of these platforms is TuffWords, where he makes words accessible and enjoyable—covering everything from ordinary to unique terms in English and Twi.
